Dr Gary L White Crown.jpg

A crown is a dental restoration that covers the entire surface of the tooth: front, back, inside and outside, and  across the top. The crowns are manufactured after tooth preparation and are fitted and placed on the tooth with cement which holds the crown in place. A well fitted crown with proper bite  adjustment should provide many years of service.

Crowns are manufactured of all metal, all porcelain, or a combination of both. When considering which material to use we will consider the strength comfort, beauty, and durability in choosing the correct material.
